- ½ cup apple butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla; mix until combined.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing on low speed until just combined. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
- Roll chilled dough into balls, then roll in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Place on prepared baking sheets with space between each cookie.
- Using your thumb or spoon handle, create an indentation in each cookie and fill with apple butter.
