Description

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 large apples (peeled and chopped)
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch


Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix together brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Stir in the chopped apples.
  2. Cook over medium heat until boiling, then reduce to low and simmer for about 10 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Remove half a cup of the liquid and mix with cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth. Pour back into the saucepan.
  4. Cook on low heat while stirring continuously until thickened.
  5. Serve warm with cinnamon sugar chips.
