  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional, for a creamier texture)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cod fillets on it.
  3. Brush the fillets with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Bake the cod for 12–15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the cod bakes, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise (if using), dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Dijon mustard in a bowl; season to taste.
  6. Chill the sauce until ready to serve.
