  4. Pour filling into cooled crust and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool at room temperature for at least two hours before chilling.
  5. For the topping, whisk heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form; top each slice before serving.
  6. For the brûlée effect, sprinkle sugar on chilled slices and use a kitchen torch to caramelize.
