Description

This cozy milk tea blends the citrusy bergamot aroma of Earl Grey with sweet fresh cherries and smooth vanilla. It’s comforting served warm and refreshing poured over ice.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Tea:

1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose leaf)
1 cup water

For the Milk Mixture:

1/2 cup milk (any type)
4–5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
1–2 teaspoons vanilla syrup

Optional:

1 cinnamon stick
Ice (for iced version)

Instructions

Brew the Tea

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

Steep the Earl Grey tea for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.

Remove tea bag (or strain loose leaf) and set aside.

2. Prepare the Cherry Milk

In a small saucepan, combine milk and cherries.

Heat gently over medium-low heat for 3–5 minutes, lightly pressing cherries with a spoon to release juices.

Stir in vanilla syrup.

Optional: Add a cinnamon stick while heating for extra warmth.

Strain if you prefer a smooth milk tea, or leave small cherry pieces for texture.

3. Combine

Pour brewed tea into a mug.

Add the warm cherry-vanilla milk mixture and stir gently.

For Iced Version

Let the tea cool to room temperature.

Fill a glass with ice.

Pour tea over ice, then add cherry milk mixture and stir.
