  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Add broccoli florets for the last three minutes of cooking. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season steak cubes with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and chives.
  4. Combine cooked pasta and broccoli with the sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess. Return steak to skillet and mix in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Serve immediately garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs.
