Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh cranberries (or leftover cranberry sauce)
- 1 cup sugar (plus extra for the filling)
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 beaten egg
Instructions
- Cook cranberries with sugar and water over medium heat for about 15 minutes until thickened; let cool.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly and mix in the beaten egg.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press half of the crust mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan. Spread cooled cranberry filling on top and sprinkle remaining crust mixture.
