- ½ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup sour cream, room temperature
- 2 cups (256g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
- In one bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add in the egg and vanilla extract; mix well. Stir in 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour and set aside.
- In another bowl, mash ripe bananas. Mix in melted butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder separately. Gradually add to wet ingredients without overmixing.
- Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan; spread cream cheese mixture over it. Top with remaining batter.
