Ingredients

Scale

Protein

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

Pasta

1 lb bowtie pasta

Fats & Oils

4 tbsp butter, divided

2 tbsp olive oil

Aromatics & Seasonings

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp black pepper

Dairy Products

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded mozzarella

½ cup grated Parmesan

Final Touches

Salt, to taste

Instructions

Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.

Sauté the chicken
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter and the olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken pieces. Season with salt, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Reduce the heat to low and add the Velveeta cheese, cream cheese, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Stir continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Combine everything
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Stir until everything is well coated in the sauce. Gradually fold in the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan, stirring until fully melted and incorporated.

Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed. Serve warm, garnished with extra cheese if desired.
