Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1” pieces
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ⅔ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup full-fat sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Flour for dredging
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced


Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken until browned on all sides. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and sauté mushrooms and onions until soft.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic; cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth while scraping the pan; return chicken to the pan for 2 more minutes.
  6. Gently stir in sour cream until heated through; do not boil.
