- 1 pound cheese tortellini
- 1 1/2 pounds steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small shallot, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak pieces with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt remaining butter. Sauté minced shallot for 2 minutes, then add minced garlic for another 30 seconds.
- Stir in flour, then gradually whisk in beef broth and heavy cream until smooth and slightly thickened.
