  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Chopped parsley (optional)
  • Extra Parmesan (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt olive oil and butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and add shredded chicken to coat. Heat for a few minutes before removing from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and pour in heavy cream and milk; gradually stir in provolone and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked tortellini with the creamy sauce, then fold in the chicken until everything is evenly coated.
