  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried dill
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Drain and rinse the garbanzo beans under cold water. Pat dry with a kitchen towel and let air dry completely.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and lightly spray with cooking oil.
  4. Spread the dried chickpeas on the baking sheet and roast for 20-30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until golden brown.
  5. In small bowls, mix spices for each flavor variation.
  6. Once roasted, separate chickpeas into bowls based on flavor preference. Drizzle olive oil over the savory ones and toss with spice mixes; coat the sweet ones with maple syrup and cinnamon.
  7. Return flavored chickpeas to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until crispy.
