Description

This smooth and vibrant raspberry coulis is a simple fruit sauce bursting with sweet-tart flavor. Made with just a few ingredients, it’s perfect for drizzling over desserts like cheesecake, pancakes, ice cream, or yogurt. Its bright color and fresh taste make any dish feel more elegant.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Coulis:
370 g raspberries (fresh or frozen)
100 g granulated sugar
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.

Cook the mixture for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries break down and release their juices.

Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Blend the mixture until smooth using a blender or immersion blender.

Strain the coulis through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds for a smooth texture (optional but recommended).

Let the coulis cool completely before serving or storing.
