- 3 tbsp whole milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Warm the milk to 105°F to 110°F and combine with yeast in a mixing bowl; let it froth for about 5 minutes.
- Mix in sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg until smooth.
- Gradually add flour until dough forms; knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with cloth until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Prepare filling by mixing strawberries with strawberry preserves.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread the strawberry filling evenly.
- Roll up tightly and cut into approximately 12 pieces; place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
