  • 1½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 oz. cream cheese (or dairy-free cream cheese for dairy-free option)
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk


Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to 110-115°F and mix it with sugar and yeast; let sit until foamy (5-10 minutes).
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, eggs (or flaxseed meal/applesauce), and vinegar. Add to yeast mixture.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt; combine with wet ingredients until smooth.
  4. Knead dough gently on a floured surface until slightly tacky but not sticky.
  5. Allow dough to rise in a greased bowl covered with a cloth until doubled (30-45 minutes).
  6. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.
