  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 sheets filo pastry
  • 4 slices feta cheese
  • 1 cup good quality honey
  • Black sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Layer four sheets of filo pastry on a clean surface, brushing each one lightly with melted butter.
  3. Place feta slices in the center and drizzle half of the honey over them.
  4. Fold the sides of the pastry over the feta to enclose it completely, brushing more melted butter on top.
  5. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle with the remaining honey and sprinkle with black sesame seeds before slicing and serving warm.
