- 6 chicken quarters
- ½ apple
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 2 inches ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 stalks green onion
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sweetener (sugar)
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener, and pepper.
- Grate ginger and garlic; add to the marinade along with chopped green onions.
- Coat chicken quarters in the marinade and let sit for at least 15 minutes (or up to overnight).
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange marinated chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for approximately 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), flipping halfway through.
