Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup canned tuna (drained) mixed with mayonnaise
  • ½ cup cooked bulgogi beef (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup finely chopped kimchi (squeezed dry)
  • ½ cup shredded cooked chicken with soy sauce
  • Roasted seaweed flakes, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and gochugaru for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice by cooking short-grain rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, mix in sesame oil and salt while still warm.
  2. Choose your filling from the options provided or create your own. If using tuna, combine it with mayonnaise for added creaminess.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the seasoned rice with your chosen fillings along with seaweed flakes, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and optional gochugaru.
  4. Wet your hands slightly to prevent sticking. Take about ¼ cup of the mixture and shape it into a ball.
  5. Serve immediately or wrap in plastic wrap for later enjoyment.
