  • 1/2 cup whole pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, yogurt, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients; stir gently until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the toasted pecans.
  6. Fill muffin cups three-quarters full and top with whole pecan halves.
  7. Bake for 20–22 minutes until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
