Description

This fresh and vibrant strawberry feta salad combines crisp greens, juicy strawberries, creamy feta, and crunchy pecans. Tossed in a lightly sweet basil dressing, it offers a perfect balance of flavors and textures, making it an ideal light lunch or refreshing side dish.

 


Ingredients

For the Salad Base:
1 head red romaine lettuce, chopped
2 cups mixed greens
1 pint strawberries, sliced and hulled

For the Add-Ins:
1 cup tomato-basil feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup pecans, chopped
6 whole strawberries, hulled and sliced

For the Dressing:
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  • Wash and dry the lettuce and mixed greens, then place them in a large salad bowl.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to the greens.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and chopped pecans over the salad.
  • Slice the additional strawberries and add them for extra texture and presentation.
  • In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, dried basil, and salt until well combined.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
  • Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
