Ingredients
For the Salad Base:
1 head red romaine lettuce, chopped
2 cups mixed greens
1 pint strawberries, sliced and hulled
For the Add-Ins:
1 cup tomato-basil feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup pecans, chopped
6 whole strawberries, hulled and sliced
For the Dressing:
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Wash and dry the lettuce and mixed greens, then place them in a large salad bowl.
- Add the sliced strawberries to the greens.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and chopped pecans over the salad.
- Slice the additional strawberries and add them for extra texture and presentation.
- In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, dried basil, and salt until well combined.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
