- 4 slices sourdough bread (or thick, crusty bread)
- 2 tablespoons honey mustard
- 2 slices white cheddar cheese
- 4 slices deli turkey
- Thin tomato slices (from 1 medium red tomato)
- ½ cup fresh baby spinach
- 2 tablespoons butter (softened)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on your counter.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Spread honey mustard on the unbuttered side of two slices.
- Layer with one slice of cheddar cheese on each mustard-covered slice.
- Add turkey, tomato slices, spinach, and top with another slice of cheddar cheese. Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread (buttered side up).
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches for about 4–5 minutes until golden brown; flip carefully using a spatula.
- Remove once both sides are crispy and cheese is melted. Serve hot!
