- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir in melted butter and vanilla until crumbly.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix blueberries with granulated sugar and cornstarch; spread over oat layer.
- Crumble remaining oat mixture on top; press down gently.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
