  • 100g dark chocolate (chopped or in chips)
  • 100g almond paste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into four triangles per sheet.
  3. Mix chopped dark chocolate with almond paste in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Place about a tablespoon of filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll toward the point, sealing well.
  5. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Whisk together the egg and milk for an egg wash and brush over each croissant.
