Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based butter


Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add plant-based butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Pour in heavy cream while stirring to deglaze the pan. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to ensure it’s heated through and well-coated with sauce.
