  • 5 cups halved/quartered fresh strawberries
  • 1-2 tablespoons orange juice
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup old fashioned oats
  • ⅔ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch deep dish pie plate.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss halved strawberries with orange juice, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and flour until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread the strawberry mixture in the greased baking dish and top with the crumble mixture.
  5. Bake for about 35 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
