  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra cracked black pepper
  • Parmesan shavings


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until golden.
  3. Stir in honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and garlic; coat the chicken in the glaze and simmer until thickened.
  4. In another pan, melt butter and sauté garlic before adding heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to thicken.
  5. Combine the pasta with the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve the creamy pasta topped with sticky honey pepper chicken and enjoy!
