Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or chicken)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped

- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1–2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- Optional: pinch of sugar
- Sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef (or chicken), finely chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and roll into 1 ½-inch balls. Place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- For the spicy mayo dip, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha (to taste), and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl.
