  • 12 ounces fusilli pasta
  • 1 pound chicken sausage (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 15 ounces Alfredo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnishing


Instructions

  1. Cook the fusilli pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of the pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear shrimp for about one minute per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken sausage and cook until browned. Add sliced peppers and onion; sauté until softened. Stir in minced garlic.
  4. Mix in Alfredo sauce, reserved pasta water, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika; simmer until heated through.
  5. Combine cooked pasta and shrimp with the sauce mixture, tossing to coat evenly. Serve garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
