  • 3 tablespoons honey


Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, Dijon mustard, apple vinegar, minced garlic, and thyme. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
  2. Prepare Coating: In a shallow dish, combine chopped walnuts, flour, salt, and pepper. Remove chicken from marinade and coat both sides in walnut mixture.
  3. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  4. Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for about 2 minutes on each side until golden.
  5. Bake Chicken: Transfer skillet to the oven and bake loosely covered with foil for about 15–20 minutes until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
